Sales Representative – High Pressure Humidification Systems
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Sales Representative to grow our business by developing customer relationships, identifying project opportunities, and selling engineered humidification and adiabatic cooling solutions. This role combines technical understanding with consultative selling, working closely with engineers, architects, distributors, and end users.
The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing systems and applications, understanding construction and HVAC processes, and enjoys converting technical value into customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territories and industries
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation through order placement
- Actively promote company products and solutions to contractors, engineers, owners, and distributors
- Prepare and present technical sales proposals, quotations, and value-based recommendations
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms in alignment with company guidelines
Technical & Application Support (Pre-Sales)
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate humidification or adiabatic cooling solutions
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents to identify opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure feasible and competitive solutions
- Support product selection, sizing discussions, and application guidance during the sales process
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers, consultants, and manufacturer’s representatives
- Conduct site visits, Lunch & Learn presentations, and product demonstrations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the pre-sales phase
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through professional communication and follow-up
Market & CRM Management
- Track accounts, leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
Required Qualifications
- Experience in technical sales, HVAC, building systems, industrial equipment, or a related field
- Ability to understand and explain technical products and applications
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities and close deals
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
